**Job Summary:** The Nursing Home Administrator will oversee the daily operations of our facility, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, maintaining financial stability, and providing leadership to staff. This role requires a compassionate and results-oriented individual who can manage the complexities of long-term care while promoting a positive and supportive environment for residents and employees.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee the overall operation of the nursing home, including resident care, staffing, budget management, and regulatory compliance. - Ensure the facility complies with all state and federal regulations and maintains licensure. - Lead and mentor staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. - Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the facility’s mission and regulatory requirements. - Manage the facility’s budget, ensuring financial efficiency and sustainability. - Foster strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and the community. - Monitor and improve quality measures, ensuring the highest standard of resident care. - Drive occupancy and retention through community outreach and resident satisfaction initiatives. - Handle resident and family concerns in a compassionate and effective manner. - Ensure the facility is prepared for all inspections and surveys, taking corrective actions as necessary. **Qualifications:** - **Nursing Home Administrator License** in Maryland is **required**. - Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within a long-term care or nursing home setting. - Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing homes. - Proven ability to manage operations, budgets, and staff effectively. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and the community. - Commitment to providing high-quality care and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
