We have partnered with a dynamic and growing law firm specializing in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury, auto injury, and insurance bad faith. We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven attorney to work alongside experienced litigators and handle a variety of complex cases in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Represent clients in personal injury, auto injury, and insurance bad faith cases from intake through trial.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
Provide counsel to clients, keeping them informed about the status of their cases.
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and adjusters.
Conduct depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings as needed.
Prepare and present compelling arguments in court, ensuring that clients' interests are vigorously represented.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and case strategies.
Keep detailed records of case activities, maintaining deadlines and timelines for each case.
Stay current on case law, legal trends, and statutes in personal injury, auto injury, and insurance bad faith litigation.
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Missouri (required). Kansas licensure is a plus.
3-10 years of civil litigation experience, specifically in personal injury, auto injury, and insurance bad faith matters.
Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and time-sensitive deadlines.
Energetic, driven, and results-oriented, with a passion for client advocacy and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
