We're Hiring: Seasonal Barback

Location: Orlando, FL
Schedule: Full-time Seasonal, Flexible Schedule-Weekdays and Weekends

Job Summary:

ICON Park is looking for a dynamic and energetic Barback to support our bartending team in delivering top-notch service to our guests. Help keep the drinks flowing and the good times rolling at ICON Park.

What you will be doing:

• Completes necessary side-work, this includes stocking and organizing all new orders of liquor, juices, glassware, small wares, beer, and wines.
• Ensure Bartenders have adequate glassware, garnishes, beverages, and supplies at all times.
• Responsible for stocking bars with all garnishes, glassware, straws, and napkins.
• Become knowledgeable of the operation of the cash and comp procedures.
• Assist guests seated at the bar areas by having basic knowledge of ICON Park and our tenants.
• Assist bartender with various tasks such as cutting, continuously replenishing fruit trays, and covering any breaks they may need.
• Clean and stock glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Helps maintain the cleanliness of all bars, work areas, and guest areas.
• Set up bar area for operation.
• Reports any maintenance problems to management.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

What you will need:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass Responsible Vending Training with in 30 days of being hired.

• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
• English/Spanish Bilingual is a plus
• Team player, self-motivator, and independent worker.

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Impeccable attendance record.
• Eagerness to learn and perform in a matter that represents Icon Park image.

• Knowledge of bar operating procedures.
• Knowledge of ICON Park property, and locations of venues.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with various team members, and guests.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and work independently with little or no supervision.

• Ability to multitask under pressure.

• Ability to work outdoors.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds at any given time, occasionally required to lift more.
• Bending for extended periods of time.
