Northpoint Roofing Systems is hiring a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative in Birmingham, AL

As a Commercial sales representative, you are responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers and managing sales cycles to a successful close. This includes contacting prospects, setting appointments, negotiating, and securing new business accounts.

Based out of Woodstock, GA, Northpoint Roofing Systems uses the highest craftsmanship and customer-focused philosophy to offer our customers compassion, guidance, and full-roof protection with the latest technology.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads; grow your sales pipeline. 
• Pipeline sales should exceed $1.5M annually.
• Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their service needs; identify and suggest services to meet those needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Initial screening/evaluation of potential commercial projects to determine if a good fit for the business.
• Establish relationships with our subcontractor labor base to assist in job site inspections as needed.
• Perform all pre-bid items: cores, measurements, diagrams, material, labor, equipment costs, etc.
• Provide full scope proposals for review prior to sending to prospective customers.
• Confirm all material and labor costs are still valid prior to accepting signed proposals.
• Coordinate the scheduling needs of client with internal resources.
• Inform scheduling department of customer installation deadline needs.
• Perform post contract and post install functions including participation in customer collections.

Job Qualifications:  

• At least 5 years of related experience
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to safely climb roofs.
• Must be able to travel; valid drivers license.
