Job Description

The Controller will oversee all day-to-day financial activities for the company and ensure compliance with GAAP standards. You will also manage a team of accountants and work closely with department heads to provide financial guidance and support in decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll
• Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support business decisions
• Oversee budgeting and financial planning processes
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor key performance indicators
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial reports
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and oversee audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in GAAP standards and experience with various accounting software systems such as SAP Business One, NetSuite, Epicor, Sage, JD Edwards, MS Dynamics, and Quickbooks
• Experience with audit and compliance processes
