CPR Instructor / Partner

Our client is currently seeking a Red Cross or AHA certified First Aid and CPR Instructor with immediate opportunity to become a partner in the operations. Our client is willing to offer equity in the business to the right candidate in addition to compensation as an instructor and commissions for businesses generated.



Job description.

The client is looking for a certified instructor to teach Red Cross CPR, AED, First Aid (Adult & Pediatric) and BLS for the in person "skills" portion of a blended learning class. These classes will take place in the conference room at the clients office.

Candidate must possess and provide Red Cross instructor certifications but does not have to own equipment. The client expects that classes be taught using the American Red Cross standards.

Duties:

• Conduct CPR, AED, First Aid and BLS training classes for groups.
• Teach participants how to respond to emergency situations and administer lifesaving techniques.
• Provide instruction on proper techniques for bandaging wounds, treating burns, and managing other common injuries.
• Create a supportive and engaging learning environment in the classroom.
• Utilize effective teaching methods to ensure participants understand and retain the information.
• Demonstrate proper procedures and techniques for performing CPR, using AEDs, and providing first aid.
• Evaluate participants' performance during practical exercises and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up to date with current guidelines and best practices in CPR, first aid, and emergency response.
• Perform necessary reporting and administrative duties.

Skills:

• Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate information to a diverse audience.
• Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures
• Previous teaching experience.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with participants and create a positive learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage class schedules, materials, and documentation.
