Job Description

Position Overview:

As an Electrical Hardware Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and equipment. This role requires strong technical skills and knowledge of industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD, UL508A, and NEC, as well as a strong understanding of Mcp, motor control panels, Eplan, and other electrical engineering software and tools. The primary focus of this role is to design and implement efficient and reliable electrical systems to meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including motor control panels, wiring diagrams, and control strategies.
  • Create and review technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Eplan.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as UL508A and NEC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to optimize system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during testing and commissioning.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all design and testing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, UL508A, and NEC.
  • Experience with Mcp, motor control panels, and Eplan is a plus.
  • Proficient in electrical design software and simulation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of controls and automation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hardware design and PCB layout is a plus.
