Café Vivant is scheduled to open in early 2025 in downtown Menlo Park.
Our culinary program will be helmed by one of the country's most accomplished/awarded chefs (2-Michelin stars most recently ). We will focus on American Heritage Breed chicken (all sourced from a single farm in Pescadero in which we are partners) raised with extremely precise, chef-driven inputs. Produce will come largely from this same farm and guided by the same chef-driven ethos.Ownership brings 15+ years of front-of-house experience in top New York restaurants (including a Michelin star, James Beard 'Restaurant of the Year', New York Times 'Restaurant of the Year,' and Wine Spectator 'Grand Award.')
Service will be casual and attentive with a few meaningful anticipatory gestures integrated. We have a beer and wine license only, so no cocktails will be served. The wine program will be among the largest in the South Bay, with a particular focus on Old World Benchmark wines.
