Job Title: Industrial Electrician (Direct Hire)

Job Type: Full Time / Direct Hire

Location: Auburn, NY

Shift: Day shift /A Shift

Pay: $20- $30/hour DOE **

The Job Duties:

• Successful completion of electrical trade school, a 2 year degree in electrical field or a minimum of three (3) years of industrial electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical principles and theory as well as practical experience.
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology and applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to work at hand.
• Organizing, planning and prioritization of work. Developing specific goal and plans for prioritizing and accomplishing tasks.
• Electrical support to the production and warehouse crews, maintain, troubleshoot or repair electrical and automation systems.

Preferred experience: Negotiable

• NFPA 70E training and applied experience
• Knowledge of automation and networking equipment and processes such as PID / closed loop control systems, networking tools and standards, VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) (ABB / Rockwell) and HMI programming and troubleshooting. **Programming preferred
• Overhead Crane knowledge and repair experience
• Basic pneumatic and hydraulic systems knowledge
• Boiler and steam experience
• Ensure the safety of all electrical systems within the facility
• Facility-wide electrical support for all areas
• Work in coordination with engineers and other technicians when working with devices and circuits

Background Profile:

• Industrial electrician experience
• OSHA 10-hr/30-hr is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot, program, and debug AB & Siemens PLCs, HMIs, relay-based circuits, and networking
• Ability to troubleshoot, replace, and programming PLC’s – programming is not required
