Urgent Care

Montefiore Medical Group(MMG )

Montefiore Health System's network of primary care practices, known as Montefiore Medical Group (MMG), seeks Internal Medicine and Family Medicine trained physicians for our Urgent Care sites in the Bronx and Yonkers. We provide a collaborative team environment and the opportunity to make a difference in patient care in the Bronx.

In this role, the Urgent Care physician will:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide acute care to patients, including children, with a wide range of illnesses such as flu, colds, pink eye, back pains, strains, and injuries.
• Perform urinalysis, pregnancy tests, rapid strep assays, immunizations, physicals, blood pressure checks, x-rays, and laboratory services.
• Performs laceration repair as well as incision and drainage procedures for skin infections.
• Administer tests for Covid.
• Prescribes and administers medications.
• All treatments are within the scope of primary care. No lacerations or IV administration is required.

Requirements:

• NY license or eligibility
• Completion of 3-year ACGME approved Family or Internal Medicine residency program.
• Board certified or Board eligibility
• DEA and BLS
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
