Position overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Network and Security Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be excited to work with various technologies while designing, implementing, and deploying solutions in our client organizations' infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a passion to learn new technologies as they are introduced while maintaining their abilities with the current and older technology to implement and resolve customer issues. If you enjoy problem-solving to work autonomously to deliver solutions that meet customer business requirements then this position is for you. This is a full-time position located in Downers Grove, IL with travel throughout the Chicago Land Area.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience working with Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet solutions
• Experience with Cisco routers and switches
• 3+ years of experience with network design and implementation on a large scale
• CCNP or CCIE Certification or equivalent manufacture certification required (both written and lab)

Location:

• The position will be a hybrid/on site. 60% of the time you will be traveling to end client locations and performing activities. The other 40% of the time you will work remote, however for the first few weeks/month you will need to report to the local Sentinel office while not on site.
• Most of the travel for the role in Chicago is local, however the Tempe role travel is a bit more extensive and could be up to 2 hours one way. Travel is paid for.

• Normal Business hours (8:00 am 5:00 pm CST or PST)
