Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, customer-service-focused individual to join the Marriott team!

• Greet guests, and provide information as they arrive and depart. 
• Assist guests with their luggage, directions, and questions, as needed. 
• Park and retrieve valeted cars. 
• Provide guests with our first-rate Marriott standard customer service. 
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

You will play an important role in creating a safe and secure environment for our employees and guests. Your ability to advocate company procedures paired with your gift for problem solving will both contribute to a safe, secure and comfortable workplace.

• Perform security walks throughout the hotel property and grounds, both inside and outside.
• Know hotel emergency procedures and how to assist employees and guests when necessary. Maintain key control procedures.
• Ensure communication ability with the Front Desk is maintained at all times.
• Ensure logs are filled out with detail.
• Assist all guests with a warm, hospitable demeanor.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous customer service experience is a plus.
• To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills.
• You must be able to read, write, type and use hotel communication devices.
• This position requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift.
• You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Previous security experience is a bonus, but not required.
