MAU is hiring a Safety Trainer in Hendersonville, NC. As a
Safety Trainer, you will provide departmental Safety and Training expertise and support for approximately 150 temporary associates.

Shift Information- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Occasional nights or weekends as needed

Required Education and Experience- High school diploma
- Lift truck experience (clamp truck, forklift, etc.)
- 1 – 2+ years of safety-related experience

Preferred Requirements- Manufacturing experience
- OSHA 10 Certification
Essential Functions- Drive SAFETY as the number one priority for MAU at Kimberly-Clark
- Serve as a role model for Safety
- Attend department pre-shift meetings and discuss safety topics
- Perform a minimum of two quality SafetyNet Inspections each week
- Use Second Obligation to help keep the Team Safe
- Assist the Platforms by leading or assisting with 4-Step Problem Solving Sessions as needed
- Serve on the MAU at Kimberly-Clark Safety Committee
- Create and update Work Standards using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Create training videos based on the Working Standards
- Perform weekly safety gembas
- Follow standard training course guidelines, including OSHA-required safety training, LOTO-authorized training, powered industrial equipment training and certification, platform-specific safety and GMP training, and job-specific training and certification
- Train and certify trainees to established standards
- Document training by updating the Training Matrices in SharePoint and recording details in Avionte
- Provide coaching to all associates
- Assist the platform in developing training standards
- Assist with sitewide communications related to policy changes and deployment
- Serve as a witness when required for attendance, work performance, and conduct counseling sessions
- Create other communications as instructed by Leadership
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility This position can supervise the following positions:
- MAU Associates
- Administrative Support
Work Environment or Working Conditions- Responsibilities may be performed in both administrative and manufacturing environments
- Manufacturing or warehouse settings may include process manufacturing equipment and heavy-power industrial vehicles
- Environments may vary from non-air-conditioned (hot/cold environments to GMP clean room required
Physical DemandsThis position may require the following to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Travel- Occasional travel may be required but limited to less than 25 miles per month
