Sanitation Associate – Night Shift

We are looking for dedicated team members to join our client’s sanitation team at their Federal Way manufacturing plant! If you have a strong attention to detail, enjoy working in a team environment, and are committed to maintaining a clean and safe production facility, we want to hear from you!

Job Summary:

• Participate as an active member of the sanitation team
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of production areas
• Clean and sanitize storage containers
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment in line with company standards

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt
• Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
• Schedule: Sunday – Thursday (occasional Fridays), 6pm start time
• Location: Federal Way Manufacturing Plant (In-person)

Responsibilities:

• Follow standard operating procedures to maintain product quality and consistency
• Adhere to the production schedule
• Pre-rinse and sanitize all storage containers
• Monitor chemical levels in the dishwasher and perform titrations throughout the shift
• Report mechanical and quality issues to the appropriate supervisors
• Daily cleaning of production rooms, sanitation areas, and hallways
• Complete all required documentation and regulatory paperwork accurately
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all company safety procedures
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain a safe, organized, and high-quality environment
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certification in Chemicals and Sanitation is a plus
• Experience in food manufacturing or sanitation preferred
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of Clean Out of Place (COP) systems and sanitation chemicals preferred
• Familiarity with OSHA and HACCP compliance is a plus
• Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to schedule changes
