Senior Biostatistician - Fixed Term Contract - Fully remote

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Biostatistician Contractor to join a dedicated team on a part-time basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role will focus on guiding statistical analysis plans, programming, and data quality checks. The successful candidate will work independently and lead statistical aspects of projects, contributing to the preparation of study plans and the interpretation of findings. This position requires a strong background in biostatistics and experience with real-world data.

Skills & Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge in statistics or biostatistics.
• Proficiency in multivariable models and survival analyses.
• Experience with mixed models, survival analytics, proportional hazard models, and propensity modeling.
• Familiarity with real-world data, medical claims data, clinical trial data, and electronic medical records.
• Skilled in writing and reviewing statistical analysis plans and study reports.
• Proficient in SAS and experienced with observational data and/or registries.
• Knowledge of Bayesian statistics, machine learning, predictive modeling, and clinical trial data design/analysis is a plus.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with senior-level decision-makers.
• Client service orientation.

The Sr. Biostatistician's responsibilities will be:

• Guide statistical analysis plans, programming, and data quality checks.
• Lead and guide statistical discussions with project and client teams.
• Independently lead statistical aspects of projects with quality reviews.
• Contribute to the preparation of study plans and review study materials.
• Develop statistical analysis plans and assist with the interpretation and dissemination of findings.
