Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, along with demonstrated experience in designing intuitive dashboards, internal systems, and implementing effective design systems and strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

· Visual Design: Crafting the look and feel of websites, including color schemes, typography, and layout. This involves creating visually appealing designs that align with the brand and target audience.

· User Experience (UX) Design: Focusing on how users interact with the website. This includes creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flow diagrams to ensure an intuitive and efficient user experience.

· User Interface (UI) Design: Designing the interactive elements of a website, such as buttons, menus, and forms, to create a seamless and user-friendly interface.

· User Research: Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions.

· HTML/CSS: Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to translate designs into functional web pages. Understanding of responsive design principles to ensure websites are accessible on various devices.

· Design Tools: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma and Zeplin to create design elements and mockups, and research.

· Collaboration: Working closely with web developers, content creators, and other team members to ensure a cohesive final product.

· Keeping Up-to-Date: Staying current with the latest web design trends, standards, and technologies.

· Accessibility Standards: Knowledge of web accessibility standards to create designs that are inclusive and accessible to a wide range of users.

· A strong portfolio showcasing a keen eye for design and a diverse range of design projects.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in UX Design preferred.

· 3+ years of relevant experience in digital design, including dashboard design.

· Strong knowledge of design principles, UX/UI best practices, and current web standards.

· Exceptional portfolio showcasing strong design and creative skills, including UX/UI design.

· Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development best practices.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively and efficiently in cross-functional teams.

· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to tight deadlines.

· Experience in the pet insurance or related industries is a plus.
