Orchard Road Animal Hospital in Montgomery, Illinois is growing and we are looking to add a full time Veterinary Assistant to our team. We have been part of the community for over 30 years, and AAHA Accredited since 2001. Our hospital offers routine services from wellness care to surgical and dental procedures, as well as boarding and grooming. Our five DVMs and phenomenal support staff have an excellent culture where we love to learn and grow, and have fun while doing so!

About the Role
As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include but are not limited to:
· Compassionate patient care
· Client education and care
· Venipuncture and catheter placement
· Radiology and diagnostics
· Lab sample collection and processing
· Medication preparation and administration
· Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
· Medical recordkeeping
Salary is competitive and depends on experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, holidays, uniform allowance and a discount on veterinary services.
